Jenn Smith started quilting about 15 years ago but put quilting on the backburner when kids came into the picture. Now, with the kids all in school, she’s sewing and quilting again and hasn’t looked back. After a few years of making quilts and pattern testing, she decided to take it one step further and start at the beginning of the creative process–writing her own quilt patterns. Jenn loves modern quilts and the freedom they give her in choosing colors and shapes, as well as giving the negative space the chance to shine as well.
In this episode, I chat with Jenn @jennbquilts about finding inspiration in architecture, the magical feeling of seeing a quilt come to life, and learning about the background stories of quilts.
